What We Do

Inspired by Romana’s plight to help and serve others, the foundation provides support and donations in various ways.  Here are some of causes The Romana Foundation supports.

St. Michaels Church

St. Michaels Church in Old Town Chicago has long been a pillar of the community and their RCIA program to bring new members is especially important to the foundation.  St Michaels dedicates itself to the education and practice of Catholicism.  They commit themselves to reaching out to all Eucharistic liturgies and parish celebrations.  The support of the faith community and traditions are rooted in this historical church in the City of Chicago.

University of Missouri-Columbia Tiger Scholarship Fund

The Romana Foundation’s roots are embedded with the University of Missouri and the Tiger Scholarship Fund helps cover expenses for students to prepare them to be champions for life.  All contributions to the TSF are used to cover tuition, room, board, academic counseling, tutors and life skills programs for Mizzou students.

The Dermatology Foundation

Its mission is to provide research support that helps develop and retain tomorrow’s teachers and researchers in dermatology, enabling advancements in patient care.  The DF is grateful to its many member physicians, specialty societies, and corporate supporters for their generous contributions over the past 50 years. Their support has helped to advance dermatologic care and ensure the development of tomorrow’s thought leaders.

Page High School Athletics

The Romana Foundation strongly believes that adolescent athletics instills discipline, hard work, and team work that carry over into the classroom.  Pictured below is Anna Hurd from Page High School in Franklin TN where the Romana Foundation donated funds to aid in the maintenance of the softball park.
