Inspiration
Romana S. Hulshof
As the proud and loving wife of Vince Hulshof and mother of six, Romana exemplified what it meant to love others and put other needs before hers. Vince & Romana provided a loving environment for their six kids on their Southeast Missouri family farm that is still striving today.
She was a voice within the special needs community working with organizations that supported her daughter, Donna, who was physically and mentally disabled and passed away due to complications at the age of twenty-seven. Vince & Romana consistently provided support to the community by opening their business and home to the special need and underprivileged. Whether it was a backyard bar-b-q or an outing to with the Knights of Columbus, Romana always put others first without any incentive for recognition. Romana lived her life for others and in turn inspired people to make a difference in other people’s life no matter the circumstance.
Romana is survived by her husband, Vince and their five kids, two stepchildren and twelve grandchildren.
